Directions to FCC Boathouse

Fastest route from points east or west of Rochester

1. Get on the NYS Thruway/Rte 90 and head toward Rochester, NY.
2. Get off the thruway at Exit 45. This is the exit for Route I-490, Route 96, Victor and Fairport
3. After the tollbooth, bear to the left to get onto I-490 West . Go for about 5 miles
4. Get off at Exit 26 - Route 31 - Pittsford. Turn LEFT onto Route 31 East. This will be towards Palmyra. Go 0.4 miles
5. At the first traffic light turn LEFT onto Ayrault Road. Go 0.75 miles.
6. At the first traffic light on Ayrault, turn LEFT onto Jefferson Avenue. Go to the end - 1.5 miles There is a traffic light at the end.
7. Turn RIGHT onto Route 31F East - Fairport Rd. Stay on Fairport Rd for 0.2 miles.
   The crest in the hill is the bridge over the canal. Do not cross this bridge.
8. Just before the bridge, turn RIGHT into the combined entrance for Fairview Lanes AMF bowling alley and Fairport Office Center.
9. Once you've turned off Fairport Rd, continue past the bowling alley. Do not park in the bowling alley parking lots. Only boat trailers may be parked behind the bowling alley. All other vehicles take the
   first LEFT turn after the bowling alley lots into the office park parking lots.
10. Bear LEFT in the office park parking lots to see the FCC boathouse up on the berm ahead. Supplies can be unloaded at the corner of the parking lot nearest the bowling alley & boathouse. Look for a wood chipped path from the lot to the boathouse. Park along the berm area, away from the office buildings as much as possible.
