FCC will compete at the 2011 Head of the Fish Fall Regatta on October 30 on Fish Creek, in Saratoga Springs, NY.  The club will travel to the event on Saturday, October 29 and return Sunday, October 30.  The Club events for FCC will take place on the 30th  only.

Attached is the Parent Handbook for the upcoming Head of the Fish Regatta that will be held in Saratoga, NY the weekend of October 29th-30th .  A parent meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 7:00pm at the Fairport boathouse.  This is a great opportunity for parents who are new to the team to learn  about the Regatta and address any questions you may have.  

A limited number of hotel rooms are being held for parents on a first-come, first-served basis at the Comfort Inn, located at 17 Old Glick Road, Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866. A group rate of $141.10 + tax has been established for the Fairport Crew Club for Saturday, October 29th, 2011. 

Please call Kathy Deyoe between 9am and 5pm at  518-374-3176 to make your reservations.  Be sure to ask for the Fairport Crew Club – Block Code “Fairport”.  Please call ASAP to reserve your room. There are a  limited number of  rooms available.  There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, so even if you are not sure you will be attending it is recommended you secure a room.  The area hotels fill up quickly and it can be difficult to find lodging.

Please register for the regatta on Regatta Central by Saturday, October 15th. Click on the Club tab, drop down to Fairport Crew.  The regatta is listed as 2011 Fall overnight and Regatta.

Saturday, Oct 29 - 8:30am - ALL crews meet at the boathouase for de-rigging and trailer loading
3:30pm - ALL crews meet at boathouse parking lot for buses to Saratoga
