Fairport Crew Club, Inc.
Volunteering
Our volunteers are crucial for the success of the club and its members. We ask that each parent do at least one thing for the club each season, in addition to providing food for regattas. There are a variety of ways to volunteer - for youth as well as for adults. You need not be a parent of a member to work with us!  If there's something you are interested in doing that we haven't listed here, by all means contact us and we'll be glad to consider it.

Winter/spring 2008

Contact  or Volunteer Coordinator Jill Nichols (email or 585-425-1120)  to volunteer for the following winter/spring 2008 jobs:
  1. filling gas tanks. This could be a job for 1 evening a week when you pick up rower from crew; come 20 minutes early.
  2. cleaning grills. Could sign up to do this after one or two regattas; not hard, just a dirty job.
  3. tent set up or take down. Could commit to either set up or take down at one or two regattas- though we do need someone to be responsible to get tent there and know how to put it up.
  4. planning the end-of-season picnic. Easy job for a small team.
  5. organizing food tent for a few different regattas (3 are taken). We can guide you and help do planning...
  6. group of folks to be thinking about the Lift Bridge for next Sept. A planning team; Mark Pederson has put much of this info in a booklet for the next planners.
  7. varsity boys team parent
If you have any talent that would be useful to the club, please contact Lee Frost or Jill Nichols or any board member....

Thank you!
